Crowned is a hair-care routine and progress-tracking app for iOS. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Crowned does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
The app stores the following only on your device, using Apple’s standard on-device storage:
None of this data is sent to us or to any third party. We have no servers, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no user accounts.
Crowned asks for camera access only when you choose to take a progress photo. Photos are saved inside the app’s private storage on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere.
Reminders (morning/evening brush, durag, wash day) are local notifications scheduled entirely on your device. Enabling them is optional.
Deleting the app from your device permanently deletes all of its data. You can also clear individual sessions and photos inside the app.
Crowned does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If a future version of the app changes how data is handled, this page will be updated and the effective date revised.
